Everyone is in a festive mood. Especially in the office. Pple come in late and knock off early. I am enjoying it too but it would be better if dont have to hold the support phone for these 2 weeks. Just one more day to goooo & i can passssss it onnnnnnnn.
Xmas was quiet. Nothing much. Knocked off at 3pm and went to Marche for some afternoon..tea? Next i bumped into Ms Chew & her beau!
Post Xmas, i met up with the gd ol' bunch of secondary school girlfriends for a catch up once again. The last time we met was in January, on a weekday night, so it was a pretty short & not-very-shiok catch up session. But it was good this time round, mainly because we did it on a Saturday and we had all the time in the world... at least that was how it felt..
And so we took some photos, outside the Xmas tree and with the lovely Starbucks Mug which elaine got for us. We shared very pleasant news this time round! 2 of them are getting married!! I am so excited!! I have been wondering when & which of us will be married first and tada... two are getting married. I can't wait for their big day and i think we should have a Hens Night for both of them XD
I have never felt so strongly before on hitting the first quarter of my life.

Virgin Post
Yea, right.. it's the virgin post at http://therecentpast2.blogspot.com
Decided to...well...do some writing, so that i can reflect upon my thoughts.
Been a really long time i decided to blog like this. For time is so precious now. Recreation time i mean. Work is busy. Good days allow me to knock off at 7pm. Otherwise it would be 730-8pm. Bad days, past 12am. But it isn'tso bad. I have only worked past 12am twice so far. The first time was 4am, the second time was 130am. I have no idea how i got myself into this line...
I'm not proud of how late i have to work... but trust me when i say i really am amazed on how late I have to work......
Been working for 2 years now. In terms of work, i hope time will pass fast as the pay goes higher and the work gets lesser.............HA......dream on.....WELL at least the bosses don't blardy hell need to work pass 10pm!
2008 is the first economic downturn I faced as a working adult. I think i feel especially more since I'm working in a bank. The retre*nch*ment AXErcise was an eye-opener and needless to say, this has got to be the first time I am experiencing an axercise going on in my office.
It's like 1238AM now. You see what i mean about time..
I know this is pretty random yea.
The Little Nonya show is nice. Super good story.
